South Shore Housing administers over 1,700 subsidies for low-income families and elderly in Plymouth and Bristol Counties. These subsidies enable people to live in safe, affordable housing. The administration of rental subsidies is viewed as one step in a continuum. South Shore Housing seeks to help the clients move forward to independence and make the transition from subsidy holder to homeowner.
