South Shore Housing is pleased to offer Home Inspections for those purchasing a home.

For most of us, the purchase of a home will represent the largest purchase we will make throughout our lives. While this is an exciting and stressful time it is important to ensure the property you are purchasing conforms to the standards of the trade.

South Shore Housing offers a professional service from a Licensed Home Inspector with many years in the housing business. Purchasers are encouraged to attend the inspection as the inspector will review the property with them, pointing out potential repairs or hazards. Following the physical inspection you will receive a clear, concise report with comments and suggestions, which will allow you to make an informed decision about your purchase.

Given that time is of the essence, we will respond promptly to your call and schedule your inspection.

FEES: inspection fees vary by type of building and family income. Prices for a single family home generally run between $150-$250.00. The fee for multifamily and extra large properties is higher.
